Calendula Officinalis 'Sunset Buff'

These seeds are freshly gathered from the 2025 crop. My favourite colour of the calendula palette - soft apricot peach. Super easy to grow and will self seed if you let them.

Sow directly where they are to flower from Apr-May. Sow thinly 10mm deep in drills spaced 30cm apart into well prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Germinates in the dark. Germination 5-10 days. When large enough to handle thin out to 30cm spacing. Can be started early indoors, sow into moist seed compost, temp. 18-23°C. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant out. Can be sown in autumn for early flowering the following year overwinter in a conservatory or greenhouse.
