Sweet William mix

These seeds are freshly gathered from the 2025 crop. They are a mix of pinks and whites. Sweet williams flower in May when there is a bit of a gap on the field so they are very much welcomed!

Sow directly in spring once frosts have past. Surface sow seeds very thinly into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Water well and keep moist until germination, 14-21 days at 12-15°C. Thin to 15cm when large enough to handle. Can be started early indoors or under glass Jan-Mar and moved outside once danger of frost has passed. Can be sown under glass in May-July for flowering the following year.

Prefers rich, light , well-drained soil with full sun. Does not tolerate a wet soil in winter.
